Amazon Firestick is the most popular device for IPTV in the USA. It is cheap, fast and works with every major IPTV player. Here is how to set it up from scratch.
1. Allow apps from unknown sources
- Open Settings then My Fire TV then About.
- Click on your device name 7 times to unlock Developer options.
- Go back, open Developer options and turn on Install unknown apps for the Downloader app.
2. Install the Downloader app
Search for Downloader on the Fire TV home screen and install it. Downloader lets you install apps that are not in the Amazon Appstore.
3. Install your IPTV player
Open Downloader and enter the official download link or code of your player, such as IPTV Smarters Pro or TiviMate. Install it, then delete the setup file to save space.
4. Sign in
- Open the player and choose Login with Xtream Codes API.
- Enter any name, then the username, password and server URL from your welcome email.
- Wait for channels, movies and the TV guide to load.
Tips for smooth streaming
- Use a wired Ethernet adapter if your Wi-Fi is weak.
- Restart the Firestick once a week to clear memory.
- Keep the player app updated.
